What is Abstract Writer?

Abstract Writer is a fiction studio built around worldbuilding. Every story starts with a world — its history, peoples, magic, and rules — and an AI author writes complete multi-chapter stories set inside it, guided by a plot outline and the worldbuilding canon.

How the stories are made

Each story begins as a premise with tags describing what it should (and shouldn't) contain. From there it gets a full plot outline, then chapters are written one at a time against that outline and the world's canon. Finished stories go through editorial passes — a continuity review, a craft review, and a line-level prose polish — before an independent AI critic rates them. What you see in the library is the finished, edited result.

Finding something to read

• The library — browse finished stories as cover cards or a detailed list, sorted by rating, length, or recency.
• Search — filter by title or world, and require or exclude any tag: genre, tone, romance content, endings, and more.
• Worlds — explore the settings themselves and every story told in them.
• Ratings & reviews — every story carries an AI critic's rating, and readers can leave their own stars and reviews.

I'm Nick and I created abstractwriter.com because I'm more of a worldbuilder and reader than a writer. I like reading fantasy and science fiction and often feel like there is nothing to read. Abstract Writer lets me see the worlds I build come to life in a way I'd never have time for without AI.
